What is the total control system?
Adjustable in multiple different ways
-
Vertical Adjustment
Our swing arms offer precise vertical adjustability, giving you the flexibility to tailor your setup for stable cross-country flights or aggressive slalom maneuvers with added pitch. This feature also allows you to set the thrust line’s position relative to your body during takeoff. A higher setting ensures a more comfortable takeoff, with the thrust line gently scooping you up, while a lower setting delivers a sportier, more dynamic feel, with the thrust line pushing from the small of your back. Whether prioritising comfort or performance, vertical adjustment empowers you to customise to your fit and preference.
-
Horizontal Adjustment
Our swing arms provide a wide range of horizontal adjustments, allowing pilots to customise their fit and positioning for their unique body type and flying style. Whether you’re a broader pilot or seeking maximum comfort, these adjustments ensure an optimal fit tailored to your needs.
In addition to enhancing comfort, horizontal adjustment helps mitigate the effects of engine torque by allowing precise alignment, regardless of the propeller’s spin direction. This feature also lets you set the distance between the risers—wider settings provide greater feedback and increased weight-shift authority, while narrower settings offer a more neutral feel. These versatile adjustments deliver unparalleled customisation and practicality for pilots at every experience level.

Arm Adjustments
With the ability to adjust both the length of the swing arm and the location of the connection point, the Total Control system offers countless combinations to help you achieve the perfect “angle of dangle.” These versatile adjustments ensure that every pilot, regardless of preference or flying style, can fine-tune their setup for maximum comfort, control, and performance.
Other Adjustments
Total Control swing arms offer additional fine-tuning options to enhance your flying experience. The swing pivot preload allows you to adjust how freely the swing arms move—ideal for tailoring your setup to different conditions. A free setting is perfect for thermaling, offering better weight-shift and feedback, while a stiffer setting helps to dampen turbulence for a smoother ride. The forward shackle location adjustment ensures your harness is easy to get in and out of, while also optimising for speedbar use. Adding asymmetry to this setting can aid in full-speed torque compensation for straight full speed flight. Additionally, the harness shoulder height features three adjustment points to provide a perfect fit for your body length, ensuring maximum comfort and stability during flight.
